My Girl Danced, Laughed and Played Today
Tina's friends showed up to support her

I have to say, there is nothing that I love more than to watch my girl dance. It really doesn’t matter if she is dancing at home or in a production, I just love to watch her dance. How did she get to be so beautiful and graceful and elegant? Maybe I am just bias or partial, I don’t know, but does it really matter? That’s my daughter and she is lovely. Dance like no one is watching.Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Dear Christina,You are my sunshine in a beautiful world filled with peace and love. I admire you for your consistency in keeping and exemplifying your beliefs and values in order to make evident the high standards that you have set forth for yourself in expression of your desire to be obedient and found worthy of all that the Lord has in store for His valiant, noble and brave spirits. You are indeed, His fearless warrior. I have watched you grow and develop into a vivacious, gifted, intellectual, and charismatic young lady. You have so much to give to others and a great deal of life, laughing, living, and loving ahead of you. Embrace life; give thanks with a heart full of gratitude for the life God has so lovingly bequeathed to you. Live your life as if it were a gift from God. I love you deeply. Never part from your ideals, stay faithful, loyal and devoted to your conscience, as it is the guide, conductor, and pilot of your spirit. I love you, Mom.
Thank you Christina for making this blog for us.

This was Christmas four years ago. It is sometimes sad to look back and remember all the fun. I often want to turn the clock back and do it all over again. My children are growing up too fast. I miss them already and they haven't even left. Christina is driving her new car and loving every minute of it. I will have to post a pic. of her new love. It is a little red Saturn.

"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother"
Mothers are so important in a child's life. The most important job of a mother is to always make sure their child knows their love for them. My mom is practicing phychology and is on her way to her bachelors degree, and she has informed me there is no worse way to treat a child then to not show your love for them. A good mother is there for you in any case; when you need a shoulder to cry on, a second opinion, a good laugh, or just someone to turn to. It was once quoted that if a mother was paid for all of their services, they would be rich. Some of these "services" are a cook, a nurse, a maid, a taxi, an accountant, a therapist, a coach, a masseuse during church, a teacher and so much more. But a mother does those things to show love and compassion. When their are times (which I KNOW their are especially for teenagers) when you feel like you just cant wait until you move out, just give her a break and remember, she is doing things because she loves you. Whether it's assigning you to do chores because she wants you to learn responsibility or just not letting you do something because she feels it might put you in danger. "Because I said so" is a mothers most famous words, because at the end of the day, mothers can't explain why they do the things they do. The only thing they can say is "Because I said so". After all, a mother is always right, even when they're wrong, they're right. And the only way for you to understand, is to have a child yourself. But a mother's bond is more deep, they carry the child for 9 months, give birth and then raise it until it's ready to go off on it's own. Mother's are gods miracle on this earth. Why? Because I said so. From Christina

My mom is passionate about the music she loves
One could not think of anything more clever or ingenious than the lyrics encapsulated from the greatest musicians of all time. THE BEATLES!
Lyrics:
{VERSE 1}Picture yourself in a boat on a river,With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,Towering over your head.Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,And she’s gone.
{CHORUS}Lucy in the sky with diamonds,Lucy in the sky with diamonds,Lucy in the sky with diamonds,Ah… Ah…
{VERSE 2}Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain,Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies.Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,Waiting to take you away.Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,And you’re gone.
{CHORUS}
Picture yourself on a train in a station,With plasticine porters with looking glass ties.Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile,The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
{CHORUS REPEATED AND FADED}

I love to watch my daughter dance. This is the first thing I have written on our blog, and I just want to tell Christina how much I love and appreciate her. She is my joy in life. There is no way I could have envisioned a lovelier, more divine soul than she. Her heart is full of integrity, virtue, principles and kindness. It is a honor to be her mother. I love you Christina. Thank you angel for creating our own blog. Love,Mom
